Okta SAML Integration

HUMAN supports logging in to the HUMAN Portal with Okta as the authentication provider.

Configuring SAML SSO

1. Login to the Okta Admin account.
2. Go to Applications > Applications.
3. Click Browse App Catalog.
   
4. Search PerimeterX and click Add integration.
5. In the PerimeterX application go to Sign On and click View SAML setup instructions.
   
6. In another tab open HUMAN Portal, and open the authentication settings page.
7. Select Single Sign-On -> Okta SAML.
8. In the Okta tab, copy SAML Endpoint, Issuer and X.509 Certificate.
9. In the HUMAN Portal tab, paste the values SAML Endpoint, Issuer and X.509 Certificate.
   
10. Click Save changes.
11. In the Okta tab, navigate to Applications > Applications.
12. Click the Settings drop-down and select Assign to Users.
    
13. Assign it to the relevant user(s).
    The newly created app is created and will appear in the Okta portal of the specified users/groups/roles.
14. Invite users as described in the Managing Users section.
